About

My name is Lindsey Donner, and I’m a writer, editor, incurable workaholic, hardcore cat lover/rescuer, and amateur home cook; I’m also a proud member of the Young Entrepreneur Council.

Since 2004, I’ve had the pleasure of working in many areas of professional writing–including development writing, print journalism, marketing copywriting and web publishing/content management. The diversity of my experience has helped me become a better writer, yes, but also a better listener and observer, two skills all writers need in spades. For example, I edited a newspaper in Cabo San Lucas. I helped launch a music retail venture in Brooklyn. I interviewed bakers, trailer park owners, DJs and musicians, government officials and CEOs.

More recently, as a ghostwriter and marketing copywriter, I have helped clients get their polished, pitch-perfect content published in Mashable, The Huffington Post, Social Media Examiner and others. I’m committed to helping clients grow their businesses with smart, targeted creative. That commitment has kept my cats very well-fed this past year.

But enough about my cat problem. Let’s talk business.

As the leader of  Well Versed Creative, I work with my very talented partner to provide a full spectrum of creative (and largely digital) services, including graphic design, front-end web development (HTML/CSS/PHP), custom WordPress themes, ghost writing, copywriting and editing to small business owners, bloggers and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to produce exciting, contemporary work for realistic prices and loads of attention. We also operate La Muerta, a line of limited edition, artist-designed t-shirts.
